Oh I do like to be beside the seaside…
La Corniche marks the road that links the coastal area between the Pharo Palace to the exit of the Old Port, and the Prado beaches to the south. Altered quite significantly over the course of the 19th century, it quickly became synonymous with the whole resort, standing as a sign of the richness of the area for the many merchants who built luxurious, ostentatious-looking property here. Dream landscape stretching from the sea to the hills, bourgeois-style villas and Californian-looking walkways line this winding path, which we recommend you take towards the end of the day when the setting sun lights up the whole horizon that sweeps before you.
